Justin is an Advanced Care Paramedic and Firefighter with nearly two decades in emergency services across Alberta. Starting in 2007, he has served in multiple leadership roles in Fire, EMS, and Technical Rescue, with major deployments on wildfires, complex technical rescues and recoveries, and large-scale emergency responses.
As President of the Spruce Grove Firefighters Association, Justin advocates for professional standards, member development, workplace safety, and sustainable emergency service delivery. He is a strong supporter of the integrated Fire/EMS model and is actively involved in provincial recruitment and retention strategies, labour relations, strategic planning, and municipal advocacy on behalf of frontline emergency responders.
Training, leadership development, and continuous improvement within the fire service have been a focus throughout his career.
